Open Material 3D Printers

INTAMSYS' 3D printers are NOT locked on INTAM™Filaments or any other brand. The printers can accept a multitude of filaments as no customer's requests are alike.

Filament Development & Testing

A key element to success with FFF 3D printing is what’s inside – the filament. Without a great material, you won’t get optimal 3D printing and risk losing the intended benefit of the parts you print. At INTAMSYS, we invest heavily in materials development and testing.

Ready-to-Print Settings

Once we certify a new material, we also create a detailed and customized material profile for the INTAMSYS printers. The material profile includes instructions given to the machine to control the print speed, extrusion pressure, environment temperature, tip temperature, and everything else needed to print your material of choice successfully.

Industrial Quality Print

Material profile allow you to save valuable time that would otherwise be spent dialing in settings, running test prints, and other functions which might delay your time-to-part.

High-Performance Materials

PEEK

INTAMSYS PEEK is a high performance thermoplastic, PolyEtherEtherKetone. It is semi- crystalline and offers high- strength and stiffness as well as high-heat resistance. Also, as it is chemically resistant to aggressive environments, it is suitable for sterilisation for medical and food contact applications.

PEI 9085 is a flame-retardant high-performance thermoplastic, PolyEtherImide (PEI) blend product.
It is ideal for the transportation industry due to its high strength-to-weight ratio and its FST (Flame, Smoke and Toxicity) rating.

PEI 1010

PEI 1010 is a high-performance thermoplastic, PolyEtherImide (PEI), which offers excellent strength, thermal stability
and the ability to withstand steam autoclaving. PEI 1010 offers high-heat resistance, chemical resistance and tensile
strength and is ideal for aerospace, automotive applications and others.

PPSU

INTAMSYS PPSU is an amorphous high-performance thermoplastic, PolyPhenylSUlfone, which offers good impact resistance and chemical resistance. PPSU can operate in temperatures up to 180ᵒC and has superior hydrolysis resistance compared to other amorphous thermoplastics. It has virtually unlimited steam sterilizability. It also resists common acids and bases over a broad temperature range.

PPS

INTAMSYS PPS is an advanced PolyPhenylene Sulfidebased filament designed specifically for FFF 3D printing. It is a semi -crystalline, high-temperature engineering thermoplastic. Due to its structure, PPS is very resistant to chemicals with a very good mechanical strength, even at high-temperatures. In addition to its low water absorption, it also has good dimensional stability and excellent electrical properties.

Victrex™ AM200

The VICTREX AM™200 wire was specifically developed by VICTREX for use in the additive manufacturing field. By redesigning polymers at the molecular level, better printing results can be achieved without the use of additives or plasticizers. This new PAEK is designed to improve the quality of PAEK’s 3D printing.

INTAMSYS ABS+ is specifically designed for water soluble support solution. It has great adhesion with water soluble SP3030.
ABS is regarded as a difficult material to print. However, ABS+, with a number of unique properties can not only improve the printing success rate, but also greatly improve the dimensional stability.

Support Materials

SP5000

INTAMSYS SP5000 is a support filament designed for use with high-temperature model materials, like PEEK, PEEK-CF, PEEK-GF, PEKK, PEI 9085, PEI 1010, PPSU, etc. The material maintains rigidity during printing and goes soften after immersed in ethyl acetate solvent which is easily removable.

INTAMSYS SP5040 is a breakaway support material designed for use with PEI 9085 materials. The material has good heat resistance and sticks well with PEI 9085 during printing, and is easy to manually remove after printing.

INTAMSYS SP3030 Support Filament is water dissolvable support 3D printing material, and offers great compatibility to INTAMSYS ABS+, PA6 and PA6-CF. The solubility is increasing with higher water temperature.

INTAMSYS SP3050 is a breakaway support material designed for use with PA12 and PA12-CF model materials. The material maintains rigidity during printing and is easy to remove at room temperature, which can reduce the time required for post processing.
